Vintage Slot Cars
These slot cars are built to 1/24th the size of an actual car.
Most slot cars are made in the scaled down likeness of a real car. So if you find a 1:24 1969 Camaro SS, you'll know what you're buying.
These slot cars are smaller scale; only 1/32nd the size of an actual car. These slot cars are more suited to smaller home tracks. So if you have a track at home or are planning to build one, you might consider going the 1:32 route.
HO slot cars herald back to the days of old when there weren't any standard production sizes. Common HO sizes are 1:87 & 1:76 scale.
These scales aren't accurate though because the tiny models were often stretched to better fit a motor inside.
Today's HO cars are usually around 1:64 scale.
Slot cars are a ton of fun for kids of all ages. They can be great introductory engineering projects too! Building and racing slot cars is a great American past time, and one that almost anyone WILL enjoy!
